I’m a bit sad to make this review as I really used to love this place- However the quality of the food has lowered and the prices have gone up a lot. I’ve been going here on and off since 2018 back when this place was called Kuya Henry Restobar (not sure if the owners switched) and I noticed over time the quality of the food has gone down. The same chicken adobo I’d have back then is less flavorful, smaller portion and much more expensive. The halo halo used to be served in this large glass (also used to be more flavorful) and they switched to a smaller plastic container all while raising the prices on it. They also used to have a buffet back then but to my knowledge they completely got rid of it which was a good deal. The staff is very friendly and attentive towards customers this review is based more on quality, portion and price of food. I really am sad that the quality has declined and that I’ll be having to find a different Filipino restaurant. I can’t justify paying over $60 for food that has gone down in quality anymore. I’ll be attaching a then vs. now photo of the halo halo for context. Then- the glass, now- plastic. You can see that even the toppings have declined.

Authentic and amazing Filipino food. Highly recommend eating here. We had the calamanci drinks, skewers and lumpia for appetizers, pancit bihon, bangus silog, kare-mare stew, and sisig. Each dish was delicious. If you’ve never had Filipino food before, please go here. It is amazing!!

I was on a small weekend getaway, and decided to check this place out with my fiance. First, the food was AMAZING!!! So many traditional Filipino dishes to choose from (as well as some dishes that more Americans are familiar with), it was hard to pick. In the end, I got some lumpia (Filipino egg rolls), pancit (noodle dish), milkfish, and both pork and squid adobo. Finally, we finished it all off with some halo-halo (traditional Filipino dessert). Secondly, although I thought the food was great, I thought it was a little overpriced and was disappointed that the main dishes didn't include rice. And thirdly, the server/cashier was pleasant and attentive. I believe he said his name was Ojie. The atmosphere was simple, but you could tell it was a "mom and pop" sort of place. So even though it may not have been fancy, a lot of pride was taken in it's food and the country it came from. If I'm ever in this part of Florida again, I'd still come back. Highly recommend.

Great find as we were passing by and craving filipino food. I especially like their Pork BBQ as it's sweet to my taste. The rest of the food are good, more towards filipino taste buds. The shareable are probably good for 2-3 people to sample. Plenty of street parking but it can be a challenge if during busy hours. Looks like there is an open mic kareoke, so avoid late night if you're not into that.

🍴Food Delivery Review🍴 Whenever I'm in town, and the craving for Filipino food arises, this is my go-to place for the good noms. We've ordered: Lechon Kawali, Pancit Bihon with Shrimp, Turon (my faaaavorite!), Halo Halo, Calamansi Juice, Longsilog, Lumpia, Skewers Appetizers, Tocilog, Kalabasa Greens Gata, and Sago Gulaman. We have thoroughly enjoyed everything immensely. Packaged well. Delicious. Fresh. Perfect textures. And the true taste of the Motherland. It's especially been fun to introduce my Brazilian boyfriend to new drinks and dishes of my culture. He loves it all, too!
